.°˖✧HAIL AND WELL MET✧˖°.
My name is Christen, but you can call me Tibbles. I have been crocheting for 17 years, and writing patterns since 2011. I design unique (sometimes weird) fantasy inspired amigurumi.
No AI guarantee: I do not use generative AI in any of my creative work. My designs, photos, charts, instructions, every step of my process is handcrafted and human-made.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
I use worsted weight (4) acrylic yarn and an F (3.75mm) hook for almost everything. My stash is mostly store brands.
-
Yes, you can make any of my patterns in blanket yarn! I recommend a J hook and using yarn-under sc’s. See my tutorial here:
Yarn Over vs. Yarn Under, and Blanket Yarn — Crafty Tibbles
You can use any yarn-hook combination you like, they’ll just turn out smaller or larger!

I don't advertise my patterns as beginner-level, and they won't teach you HOW to crochet. However, challenges are how you learn! My newest focus while designing is to make things look impressive, while keeping it technically simple. (The Dragon Head crochet pattern is simpler than you might think!)
-
If you have a technical question, or think there is an error, you can contact me by email. For best results, include: the pattern you are working on, the piece and/or round number, and a picture of your work if possible.

My patterns are .PDFs full of pictures and diagrams. I do not make video patterns.
If I do ever make a video for something, it will be on my YouTube:

Absolutely! Giving credit is appreciated, and if you tag me on Instagram I’ll repost or share your creation.
You may NOT resell my actual patterns, or paste any parts of them together to sell as your own pattern. AI is doing enough scamming and theft, let’s be respectful to human creators. ♥

I use PowerPoint and Affinity. In the past, I have used LibreOffice Draw (open source, free, similar to PowerPoint), and Photoshop (has gotten too expensive!)

I like little critters, computers, video games, fantasy/sci-fi, martial arts, and learning new skills and hobbies. I was a professional tattooer for about 13 years, and retired from it.
I grew up always making things, and loved stuff like Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, Conan the Barbarian, Warcraft, etc. Fantasy remains my biggest inspiration. ⋆˙⟡
